Habitat volunteers come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, volunteering with Habitat Hillsborough is a rewarding experience for all involved, and one that improves the community you share. Construction volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Join us in building a world where everyone has a place to call home! Details: WHAT TO WEAR Sturdy shoes that are closed toe and heel (sneakers or work boots). NO flip-flops, Toms, Foot Glove, Crocs, or any open toed/back shoes allowed. Please make sure to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, possibly torn, or possibly stained. Acceptable attire includes a t-shirt, shorts or jeans, and sneakers.WHAT TO BRING Lunch and snacks - Habitat does not provide food. If your group is not providing lunch, please bring your own. Water Bottle- We will have extra water bottles on site however, we recommend being prepared with additional water to stay hydrated. Tools and protective gear will be provided, if you would like to bring your own, please make sure they're labeled.Program: Construction Let's build together.
