Habitat volunteers come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, volunteering with Habitat Hillsborough is a rewarding experience for all involved, and one that improves the community you share.
Construction volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners.

- All volunteers are required to complete a waiver prior to volunteer shift.
- Please plan on showing up on time and staying for your entire shift. Split shifts are not allowed.
WHAT TO WEAR
- Sturdy shoes that are closed toe and heel (sneakers or work boots). NO flip-flops, Toms, Foot Glove, Crocs, or any open toed/back shoes allowed.
- Please make sure to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, possibly torn, or possibly stained.
- Acceptable attire includes a t-shirt, shorts or jeans, and sneakers.
WHAT TO BRING
- Lunch and snacks - Habitat does not provide food. If your groups are not providing lunch, please bring your own.
- Tools and protective gear will be provided, if you would like to bring your own, please make sure they're labeled.
